Written by women who had it.
Not clinicians writing about a population. People writing down what they needed and could not find.
Why this exists
Every person who worked on this program had anorexia. Some were treated, some were never treated at all, and all of them spent years afterwards in the part nobody prepares you for — medically fine, quietly still counting.
What we kept running into was that the useful material was either clinical and written for practitioners, or it was recovery content that talked about food the way the illness does. There was very little written plainly, for an adult, by someone who had been inside it.
So this is that. The rule inventory is the exercise we each did badly and privately for years before anyone gave it a name. The appetite phase exists because every one of us was told hunger would come back, and nobody said it would take the better part of a year.
Why there are no names on it
Anorexia is not something most people want attached to their name permanently, in search results, forever. The women who wrote this are entitled to the same privacy the program offers you.
That is a real trade-off. It means you cannot check our credentials, and you should weigh that. What we can offer instead is that nothing here asks you to trust a personality — the method is written out in full on this site before you pay for anything.
