Overcome Anorexia™

Everyone thinks it is over. You are still counting.

For anyone who was discharged as recovered, or never treated at all, and is still deciding what they are allowed to eat today.

Change that holds

The program meets you where you actually are — not where a chart says you should be — and works on the system underneath rather than the meals on top of it.

Structured, step by step

Four phases in a fixed order over eight to twelve months. Each opens once the last has held, so you are never handed a folder and left to find your own way through it.

Built for the part nobody covers

Acute care restores a body and does that well. It was never built to dismantle the rule system underneath, which is where this begins — before you qualify, and after you are discharged.

Measured — never by your body, calories, or macros

Rules surfaced, rules tested, rules that no longer hold. Reviewed at the end of every phase. No weight, no calories, no macros, no photographs — there is nowhere in the program to enter them.

Inside the program

Everything lives in one place.

Sign in from a phone or a laptop, pick up where you left off, and close it when someone walks in. Nothing to download, nothing on your desktop, nothing with the word anorexia on the home screen.

What this works on, and how

Most people arrive recognising some of the list below and not all of it. It is not a diagnosis and it is not exhaustive — it is a snapshot of what the rule system actually looks like from the inside.

  • A list of safe foods you never wrote down
  • Portions decided before you are hungry
  • Rules that change shape whenever one is challenged
How Overcome helps

Phase one puts the whole system on paper in plain language, without arguing with any of it yet. You cannot dissolve a rule you have stopped noticing you obey.

The method

Rule Dissolution™

An eating disorder does not end when the body is fed. It ends when the rule system it built loses its authority. Rule Dissolution™ is a structured way of taking that authority apart — one rule at a time, in an order that does not destabilise you.

01

Rule Dismantling

You cannot take apart a rule you no longer notice obeying. Each one gets written down and traced — where it came from, what job it does, and what it swears will happen if you break it. Almost none are built on evidence — only on a fear that was never once checked.

02

Rule Separation

Years of rules build a self organised around them. This is the work of getting the two apart: learning where the rules end and you begin, so that breaking one stops feeling like losing yourself. It is the part nobody schedules, and the part that decides whether it returns.

03

Rule Rebuilding

Nobody eats without any rules at all. The work after that is replacing dozens built out of fear with a handful built out of evidence — tested against what actually happens when you eat, rather than against what the alarm predicts will happen.

04

Sustained Recovery

Rules do not come back all at once. They come back on a bad week. The last work builds the thing that holds — a way of eating that survives a holiday, a crisis, an illness, and an ordinary Tuesday when nothing in particular has gone wrong.

8–12 months on average to complete 4 phases, in order Paced entirely by you
A plan that moves at your pace

Eight to twelve months, in four phases.

Structured, sequenced, and paced to the person. Each phase has to hold before the next one opens, and the ranges below overlap on purpose — going faster is how people destabilise. Some people need longer than twelve months, and that is not a failure.

Surfacing

Months 1 – 2

Getting the whole rule system on paper, without arguing with any of it yet.

  • Self-paced weekly modules
  • Rule inventory and mapping
  • Baseline questions to take to your team

Loosening

Months 2 – 5

Testing rules in a deliberate order, starting with the ones that cost the most and threaten the least.

  • Structured experiments, in order
  • Eating what you want, on purpose
  • Prompts to bring to your dietitian

Appetite

Months 5 – 8

The slow physical work of getting hunger and fullness back, and learning to trust them again.

  • Rebuilding interoceptive signals
  • Eating to craving, not to plan
  • Physical markers reviewed by your medical team

Living

Months 8 – 12

Building a life that is not organised around the illness, so there is something to hold the shape of the day.

  • Identity and values work
  • Relapse-warning planning
  • Step-down schedule with review points
What you get

Self-administered. Built to run alongside your care.

Everything here is written material you work through on your own time. There is nothing live to attend and no one monitoring you. If you want a person alongside it, coaching is a separate tier — otherwise the program runs entirely independently.

Rule Dissolution™

The method written out in full — what it is, why it runs in this order, and how to work it on your own rules rather than someone else’s.

The workbook

Every exercise in the program, with worksheets for each pass through them. This is where the work happens, and it happens on paper.

Measurement

How you tell it is working. Rules surfaced, tested, dissolved. Appetite returning. Nothing about your weight, your calories, or your macros. Ever.

What to do when it slips

A written plan for the weeks it goes backwards — the early signs, what to do in the first few days, and how to pick it up again without starting the whole thing over.

Nobody has to know

Nothing is shared with a doctor, an insurer, an employer, or a family member. That is written into the privacy policy, not just onto this page.

A coach, if you add one

Coaching is a separate tier — two sessions a month alongside the same program. Without it, this runs entirely on its own, which is how most people start.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Everything below applies to Overcome Anorexia specifically. The full list is on the FAQ page.

Is this therapy?

No. It is structured written material and exercises you work through yourself. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it cannot replace medical care.

If you have a treatment team it runs alongside them. If you do not, it is something to work with in the meantime — not a reason to avoid care you need.

Is this for people still in treatment, or after?

Both, and also before. It is written for the stretch where the acute model does not reach — when you do not yet meet the criteria, or when you have been discharged as recovered and the rules are still running.

If you are medically unstable right now, this is not the right thing. A doctor is.

Will you talk about my weight?

No. No weight, no calories, no macros, no sizes, no photographs. There is nowhere in the program to enter them. Progress is measured by what the rules can still make you do.

What does it cost, and can I cancel?

$39 a month, or $297 once for the whole program. The monthly plan cancels in one click from your account, any time; the one-time purchase has nothing to cancel.

Refunds apply to either, within 14 days, as long as you have not worked through most of it. If the price itself is the obstacle, write to us before you buy.

Will anyone find out?

Not from us. Your card statement reads OVERCOME and nothing else, and we never name the program or the condition in an email subject line.

There is nothing to download and nothing that sits on your desktop — you sign in, and you close the tab.
